Utah Adventures :: Tasia

I met Tasia, you guessed it.. off Instagram! (is there another way to meet cool people now and days?) I went to Utah the beginging of October and met and shot and broke bread with 29 people. yes, you read that correctly. TWENTY NINE. I was only there for 5 days, mind you. As much as I wanted to keep meeting people and shooting, this was THE last shoot of the trip. Literally, after this shoot was over we headed to the airport. (That's how my entire trip went. Off the plane, we were headed straight for meeting an old friend for lunch.) Here's my shoot with the amazing model AND photographer, Tasia Jensen in Cottonwood Canyon in Northern Utah. Enjoy!

I have been meeting people from the internet for almost 6 months now, and I always get worried looks from my parents and friends.. when we were shooting this, we walked past a super cool (dumpy and very dirty) alley way that would be perfect for this shoot with Molly. but about 200 feet away, there was a middle aged homeless man legitimately stretching and hopping up and down as if he was charging up for a boxing match. needless to say we ran.. but i told my parents that and they just said, "WHAT THE HECK GOES ON DURING THESE SHOOTS BECCA?!"
my reply: " thats LA for ya."

Not to mention Molly was wondering the streets of LA in a night gown and winter coat... we got some stares. 

Hipsters and New Hair

So, My friend Traci Wynder, has never dyed her hair. *GASP* 

Like how is that possible? I've been dying my hair since I was 14. Its a great thing when your older sister is a cosmetologist and you get to be the lab rat! Traci mentioned she wanted to dye her hair so we ran to the nearest beauty supply store and picked a color. We dyed it that night. Might I add, I love this color on her!
We had so much fun taking these photos of our new hair! Gotta document the fun, right?!
