Natural Beauty Project : Your Story

In the little acts of daily life, I often find myself out and about with no makeup on at all. I honestly don't mind it. It doesn't phase me at all. It might bother most women to be seen running errands in their natural, beautiful, non-makeup days, but I love to see women who do. Maybe they just didn't have time that day to do their makeup, or maybe they don't mind it either. But I had  friend who is a Fashion Blogger, Tallia, share an experience via twitter, of how a guy came up to her and said it was 'cool' she wasn't wearing any make up! I loved reading about that. So here is just another way to really expose this Natural Beauty Project I have started.

Serendipity

This one I had to share. Too much fun to pass up!

So I just got a shipment of Forever 21 clothes yesterday! (YAY!) and I was so in love with it all I had to use it in this shoot. So at first we couldn't find the right spot. Then we find it finally, (again, I'm awful with directions.. clearly!) We get all set up and around the corner of the building we find an old couch next to a graffiti wall! Absolutely in love! So we're shooting and then a train goes by! What more could possibly go RIGHT?! haha I was so excited! So there's the back story to this shoot. enjoy!

So here are some portraits of me.. My sister is quite the photographer! I'm not a good model.. but here they are none the less. haha

Here Comes that Feeling You Thought You Forgot

So this morning, Courtney and I set out on an excursion.. and yes I mean excursion. We were supposed to be headed to the beach (South) But if you know me, you know that directions are not my forte. So we ended up North. Were driving and I'm seeing mountains. (The first clue that I'm NO WHERE NEAR the beach..) So I turn around, and we hit traffic. So we get through that and we get there and there is a strong wind blowing! I was in L.O.V.E. The wind was pretty strong but it worked for our advantage! So we're shooting and I go to our bags and its covered in sand from the wind blowing the sand around! So we keep shooting and I realize as were walking down to the water, the sand is blowing so hard its cutting my hands up!!! So we looked out at the ocean and looked at each other and we both agreed it was time to call it a day and head home! But Courtney was such a trooper! She had sand blasting in her face and hair blowing every which way, and she STILL managed to give me pictures that are exactly what my heart yearned for. Enjoy!
