FILM!
I'm crazy for film! I took dark room in High School for two years, (Which is now 3 years ago) and I recently  decided to go back to doing film. And can I say, that's the best decision I've ever made in my career in the last 5 years of Photography. I have been so in love with film. Just the fact that you have to wait to see your work, (which is really hard for me since I'm kind of impatient! Especially when it comes to things like this!) So I got a couple models to test out my new camera I impulsively bought on Amazon. It was from the 1970's so I was excited to get a bit more of the vintage look and add a little character to my photos. Because, lets face it. A camera that's been held by many different people for countless purposes and been to who knows how far across the world in its life, is a good place to start. So the first time I loaded it, I ruined an entire roll of 35mm. I was not very happy with myself since I just finished taking the whole roll. (Luckily it was just a rose on a bed as my subject, but the worst part is, I will never be able to see those photos.) No magic genie or wishes will bring back those photos. And that is the whole reason why I believe film is so much more honest then digital. (I still shoot digital as back up..) But the delicacy of film, the fact that half of a nano-second of light will ruin everything, just makes it that much more precious. With digital, you can literally make an image. You can piece together countless images to make one image that, quite honestly,  never happened. And for me, I've always loved the honesty photography brings and shares to the viewer.

Anyway, Ill stop ranting on about film. I'm a freak, I know. ;)
